Black and White

If you follow my blog you may know that I have a huge thing for black and white photos. I think if it was not for my web designer and friend reminding me that some people prefer colour photos I would be posting black and white photos all the time. I do love a great colour photo don't get me wrong but the lighting you can play with when you are doing a black and white just thrills me. This one is a photo I took of our daughter under my desk today. She had the light coming in directly behind her in through the french doors.

Sunday September 7'th

Today I had the pleasure of meeting the sweetest little baby girl . Princess E is only 2 weeks old and you would think that she was a pro at doing photo shoots . She was awake for the whole shoot and a joy to photograph. Here is some of my favorites from the time stopped with baby E .





















This whole shoot was done in colour and in Black and White . I do shoot some photos in black and white right in my camera . Other photos I make into a b/w after the shoot.
I choose to show of this shoot in just black and white and also using some different contrast .

Saturday September 6

Today I had so much fun with a great family . After getting lost finding them and being late ( so sorry guys :o( ) we had a great time and the kids we so good .
I just loved the location and I know I will do shoots there again .
As promised here is a sneak peak for you to look at . And also a few of the princess .

Head Shots

One of the things I do for my business is head shots . I got some great ones of lady J the other day . She is starting a great business venture , if you live in the Kamloops area check out her web site at www.kamloopsEsthetics.com . She does skin care and all those fancy papering things :o) . I must say after looking at her photo shoot and not having to air brush her face at all I can't wait for her shop to open so I can get my face done . I sure hope she needs loads of photos done in the future as I know my face needs alot of work .

Boys Boys Boys

I just had to share more photos from the brothers I did a shoot with last week . I had a great time with their mum this evening and she was very happy - so now I can share some more photos :o). Again I was smiling all evening looking at their faces. I had about 550 photos so it was hard to pick a few for this blog - it is going to be even harder to pick for the web site . I must say I do not envy their mum to pick one for the wall :o) good luck .

I will post the whole photo shoot to view and to see what a 2 hour shoot can look like - also for family and friends to order .

Black and White puppy shoot - but I had to leave in a color shoot . This little puppy is only 3 lb's and will be 5lb when he is fully grown .

Sneak Peek Brotherly Love

On Saturday I had the most fun shoot - I had two hours of laughing , sand and getting soaked in the river . I am still smiling thinking of these boys. Here is a sneak peek for their mum to enjoy until I see her later in the week.

The B Family Shoot

Monday morning I had so much fun doing a family shoot with the B family . I will have some of these photos posted on my web site very fast but I wanted to share on my blog now as I just loved this shoot . The boys were having so much fun as the younger one was trying to get the older one to laugh and have fun . Mum and dad have not had a picture done in over a decade so I was very honoured to do a photo for them . I sure hope they love them as much as I do .

This evening I had a great photo shoot on Kamloops Lake . The bugs tried to eat us alive so I think next time we go to this location it will be during am hours. Hope you enjoy these photos Mr W . I think you look great .
