Summer Love

Just this weekend I had the honor of stopping time at C and L's wedding . It was so hot and muggy out and the local forest fires made it smoky also - not ideal conditions for photos so I was very pleased to get some shots that the couple loved and that I could be proud of . Spending the day with them was so much fun - great couple - fantastic family and young love , truly a joy .

I love when a wedding touches me so much I have to remind myself to keep on taking photos instead of listening to the vows - this was one of those weddings . This was an intimate and touching wedding that I will never forget - great people - fantastic families - friends that would travel from the other side of the country just to witness this day . This is forever true love .

I took so many photos and the bride and groom will be given them all on memory stick to have for ever - it was very hard for me to just pick some for my blog so I may just add some more later and also on my facebook group . I am hoping to tell a story with these photos so friends of family that could not be there to share the day with C and B can still experience the joy .

To show these photos on the blog I had to make the photo file a lot smaller - in the originals the sharpness is still intact .

Had a great time stopping time for our Canadian family's youngest son's graduation this last weekend - 500 photos later and I am having a hard time showing just a few but this gives you and idea of some of the shots I got .

I had the great honor of doing some boudoir photos for S on Saturday night . She is truly stunning and it was just a blast taking these photos for her . This is not something I have done loads of in the past but it was so much fun making that hidden vixen shine on film - I am so happy with the result and thrilled that S is letting me share with everyone .

Yesterday I spent the day with the nicest couple, C and K are blessed with such great family and friends that the day seemed more like a day off for me than work . I was truly blessed to have the nicest location for photos and it was very hard to pick a few of my favorite photos to share with everyone . I enjoy stopping time in black and white but for every black and white photo I also have some in colour . Some of the photos I had to minimize alot so they look abit unsharp on the blog - this is just because of the way I made the photos fit on my blog page and not the quality of the photo .

This weekend I had so much fun doing the engagment shoot for C and N . I am also doing their wedding photography in March so it was a great time to hang out and talk about their vison for the photos for their big day . It was so nice to get to know them both more and just have fun sharing their love for each other . I am very happy with how the shoot turned out in the different locations they had choosen . They have a love for hockey so some of the shoot was done at the local hockey rink .

I just had a great time doing these " spicy " photos for L . She was giving them to her husband for Christmas but he was lucky and got them early . We did some glamour shots , some head shots and some more sexy shots . These are photos that both L and her husband can look at later in life and be very proud of .
Photos are a great gift and when L came up with this idea for her husband it sure showed that she wanted him to have something very special from her .
This is a great personal gift and a great Valentine gift to a loved one . I sure think L looks stunning in these photos and it was a joy to do these photos for her .

There is something about kids photography that I just love . It may be that I am raising 5 children myself but I just can't get enought of the moments that can be captured of children . This shoot of mum and her daughters makes me smile and I just can't help being happy when I see these girls .

I just LOVE stopping time for a little new born baby and when a baby is this sweet it is a pure joy for me . This little baby boy is a natural infront of the camera and taking 200 photos in a brief hour was very easy . He is only 2 weeks old but was awake the whole time and just loved the attention from both his parents .
I am showing of a sneak peak here in black and white as it is a great way when a baby is so nice a milky white as baby J is . All the photos I take I have in both colour and black and white .

I had a blast at the lake today . This family is so much fun . Leon and I are so blessed that this is the great lady that Annalisa goes to every Tuesday when I work and for her to get interaction with other kids . Tuesday morning I had this great time with a old friend of mine that I use to work with about 10 years ago just when I moved to Kamloops ( actually before I was pregnant with Alex at the police station ) she is now a local real estate agent and was looking for some photos for her work .
I can not believe how much she looks like the actress in CSI New York - the funny part is that she is originally from that side of the world ... hmmm do I hear long lost sisters ? I was going to share a few sneak peaks as I promised Mr and Mrs M but I had a really hard time picking a few photos . Usually when I do a shoot there is a few photos that just jump at me and I love them right away . This shoot had that for sure but I must say their shoot had about 50 photos like that . Today I had the pleasure of meeting the sweetest little baby girl . Princess E is only 2 weeks old and you would think that she was a pro at doing photo shoots . She was awake for the whole shoot and a joy to photograph. Here is some of my favorites from the time stopped with baby E .

This whole shoot was done in colour and in Black and White . I do shoot some photos in black and white right in my camera . Other photos I make into a b/w after the shoot.

I just had to share more photos from the brothers I did a shoot with last week . I had a great time with their mum this evening and she was very happy - so now I can share some more photos :o).
